Starting from the exploration of different areas of intervention of Civil Engineering, the Innovation Cycle Stepping Out – Civil Engineering at Display initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Porto, coordinated by the Department of Civil Engineering at FEUP, in partnership with the University of Porto Show and the Order of Engineers, seeks to show how innovation drives the development and modernization of the city.

The initiative seeks to reveal the scientific and technological knowledge that underpins many of the emblematic works and infrastructures that are fundamental to the city’s current development.
