Porto Innovation Hub, the home of innovation in the city of Invicta, has new facilities. The space reopened at Largo Dr. Tito Fontes, in Porto, and opened doors this tuesday, in a former office space, after an investment of 140 thousand euros and works of three months, by GO Porto, a municipal company of works management of the Municipality of Porto. The initiative had dozens of guests.
The new residence of this initiative, directed by the Porto Digital Association, aims to be a platform for innovation in the city, bringing together all the innovation agents of the city and the region, and increasingly involving the citizen and workers of Municipality of Porto in the process of transformation and evolution of the city.
Launched in 2016, in a first edition, Porto Innovation Hub held dozens of debates with experts, politicians, academics, technicians and civil society to discuss Innovation in the transformation of the city. The ideas and proposals that emerged during these meetings gave rise to a book, which compiles the strategic vision for innovation of the Municipality of Porto.
