Greater Circularity is the first theme that highlights the essential role of the circular economy in achieving a more sustainable Porto across various levels. It aims to replace the linear model with practices that prioritize the reuse of materials and the reintegration of waste into the value chain, thereby reducing waste and the demand for new resource extractions. This approach is fundamental for achieving objectives such as reducing Europe’s reliance on external resources.
The theme “More Clean Energy” focus on developing sustainable energy solutions. Renewable energy plays a fundamental role in ensuring a healthier environmental future by meeting the energy needs of communities and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
The “Guide to innovation” aims to be a tool to support the development and improvement of services and products focused on the needs of citizens and visitors of Porto.
